Westleigh House Residential Care Home, Walton Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington
Westleigh House opened in 1989 and provides care and accommodation for 18
residents. Again most original residents were former long stay patients at
Winwick Hospital but we have long accepted hospital and community referrals.
The premises are owned by Arena Housing Association and managed by Warrington
Community Care. Accommodation consists of 18 single bedrooms on 2 floors (5
ground floor), 2 lounges, dining room, kitchen and laundry. There is no lift to
the first floor. Ground floor bedrooms, toilet and shower facilities are
wheelchair accessible. There are large attractive private gardens to the side
and rear. This home has an 8 seater ‘people carrier’. The home is situated
within easy walking distance of Stockton Heath village centre.
There is always a minimum of 2 Care Staff on duty by day and 2 by night
(including 1 staff on sleep in duty), plus cooks and domestic assistants.
