Lodge Lane Nursing Home opened in 1992 and provides accommodation and nursing care for twenty residents. Most original residents were formerly patients at nearby Winwick Hospital (now Hollins Park Hospital), but the scheme is now open to hospital or community referrals. The new build premises are owned by Warrington Community Care. The accommodation consists of 20 single bedrooms on 2 floors, (12 ground floor), 2 lounges and a conservatory, 2 dining rooms, craft and recreation rooms, a medical room, kitchen and laundry. All rooms are furnished to a high standard. There is a lift to the first floor. All rooms are wheelchair accessible. There are private gardens to front and sides. The home has a 12 seater minibus.

Care Staff consists of 6 qualified nurses, plus 12 other care staff.

There are always at least 3/4 staff on duty by day (1 qualified) and 2 by night (1 qualified). In addition to this there are cooks and domestic assistants.
