Bewsey House Residential Care Home, 8 Bewsey Road, Warrington


Bewsey House opened in 1985 and provides care and accommodation for 18 residents many of whom were former long stay patients at Winwick Hospital. The premises, a former nurses home, are owned and maintained by Arena Housing Association and the scheme is managed by Warrington Community Care.

The accommodation consists of 18 single bedrooms on 2 floors, (4 ground floor), 1 large and 3 small lounges, dining room, kitchen and laundry. The home is very comfortably furnished and has a homely atmosphere. There is a lift to the first floor. There are well-established gardens to the rear. The home has an 8 seater people carrier. The home is within easy walking distance of Warrington Day Centre, Warrington Workspace, and the town centre.

Care Staff consists of 10 care staff plus cooks and domestic assistants.

There is a minimum of 2 staff on duty by day and by night (1 sleep in).
